The Griffith Barnstormers flying club is located just north of the intersection of West Avenue D and South Cline Ave. in Griffith Indiana. 

Our runways are predominately West to East. At 150' X 800' we can accommodate even the largest of planes. The approach from the West is the easiest, high downwind over the trees but plenty of runout for those HOT approaches. The approach from the East requires some training and trial runs, high downwind over the trees and a high final over 60' trees, but again a lot of room to put it down and get it stopped (800' is a lot of runway).

We have a new shelter and provide a porta-let during the summer flying season.  The consumption of alcoholic beverages or the use of drugs while flying is strictly prohibited. 

We are always accepting new members and meet the first Thursday at the Griffith public library 940 North Broad St. at 7:00 PM.
